How the submission works
Who can submit
This submission is for those who produce, process, transport or sell: family farms and smallholders, cooperatives and common-initiative groups, processing SMEs and industrial firms, logistics and marketing actors. The project holder may be based in Cameroon or in the diaspora: the location asked for is the project’s, not the person’s.
Support providers (finance, expertise, equipment, compliance) and institutions have their own entry points.
Which projects
Creation, extension or turnaround of a farm or livestock operation; a processing unit; market access, certification and export; financing of a project already studied. Each situation matches one of the firm’s standard paths, which the recommendation returned at submission points you to.
The eight levels of the submission
Each level is one choice; “I don’t know yet” lets you through wherever the answer is not essential.
- Sub-domain: the link of the value chain where your main activity sits — produce, process, transport, sell.
- Family of activity: the production family within that link.
- Value chain: the crop, species or product of your project.
- Actor profile: the structure that describes you best — family farm, cooperative, SME, industrial firm.
- Products: what your project brings to market, three choices at most.
- Stage in the chain: what you seek to secure or develop first.
- Location: the region where the project is or will be located.
- Needs: what you expect from XP-NOVA — this screen drives the recommendation.
What is useful to prepare
No document is required to submit. A few lines describing the project, its progress and, where they exist, studies already carried out will help the team answer precisely — you can send them after the first reply.
What happens next
Your file receives a reference and a summary page with first recommendations. The team reviews it and gets back to you within 48 working hours. Submission is free; the assignment quote is issued after the official opening of the file (FOD).
Confidentiality
Your answers are read by the XP-NOVA team only. They are recorded in our relationship-management tool and are never published nor passed to a third party for prospecting. The details of processing are in our privacy policy.
Frequently asked questions
Is submission really free?
Yes. Submitting and the first reply cost nothing. A quote is only issued after the official opening of the file, on a scope agreed with you.
Do I need to know my value chain precisely?
No. The “family” and “value chain” levels accept “I don’t know yet”; the sub-domain and your needs are enough for a first orientation.
My project is outside Cameroon, or run from abroad?
Submission remains possible. Choose “Outside Cameroon / diaspora” at the location level if the project is run from abroad.
What is my file reference for?
It identifies your file in all our exchanges and opens your summary page. Keep it.
Can I change my submission after sending it?
Write to hello@xp-nova.com quoting your reference: the team updates the file with you.
